With Christie, his wife of 39 years, Lance has traveled on four continents, visited twenty five countries and counts as friends leaders of many ministries around the world. They are some of the finest men and women a person could hope to know. He has learned from and ministered to believers of many denominational perspectives. After a teaching career that spanned twenty years, Lance and Christie have been involved in missions work since 1993. In 2001 they founded Hope Builders International. Hope Builders supports international ministries proven effective in ministering the love of God to their unreached communities. Lance’s purpose also includes sharing the message of life in Christ on as wide a platform as possible. To that end, the Forge Christian Life Training Program was inaugurated in 2007. Lance’s first book, Unleashing the Divine, Recapturing our Christian Vocabulary, was published in 2006. |
Lance Thollander came to Christ in what has been called “The Jesus Movement” in the late 1960s. He was blessed to experience the dynamic move of God during the 1970’s that saw believers across the country experience a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit and a rich organic experience of God’s church similar to what is seen in the New Testament.
